Following are the guidelines for the

HAC LOGO DESIGN & MOTTO CONTEST 2012.

What is a Logo?

Before you begin the design phase, you may want to take some time and research different logos. Notice that most logos are simple representations of a theme or concept.

CLUB BACKGROUND

The group aims to create activities enhancing academic as well as personal and professional development. High Achievers Club (HAC) is an organization under the Department of Architecture  UiTM Perak specifically for student achievement and the development of architecture through the development and sharing of knowledge. It forms an effective organization in order to enhance high performance architecture citizens and provide an important platform to appreciate and recognize the potential and achievement of students.

The club also encourage student participation by providing a channel for knowledge-based activities. To create awareness among the students in the process of self-development and program.

Submission Guidelines

LOGO GUIDELINES & SPECIFICATION                         

Tips for creating a logo - Make sure your design communicates the following  theme:

• • Dynamic advancement on development and  sharing knowledge;
  • Strives for greater heights;
• Objectives off the Club :  to be effective and capable of improving the performance and quality of student development  to account for the high performance global aspect.
• Include the acronym 'HAC' and the words 'High Achievers Club' in your logo.
• Explain the rationale (meaning) of your logo.
• Use simple  symbolism , shapes and text
• Do not use photographs
• Use a distinct color scheme (3 colors max)
• Make sure your logo is in a vector format (Adobe Illustrator), or is created at very high resolution (3600px by 3600 px) / JPEG. This will make sure the logo can be enlarged to huge proportions (signs, banners, etc.)
• Be creative!

 Artwork MUST be original

• You are welcome to get ideas from the Internet, but do not use another designer's work.
• Allow you to design your own graphics, such as Illustrator and Photoshop OR in manual ( A4 size)

Think of all the possibilities! - Keep in mind that the logo will be featured prominently on the web site, t-shirts, program booklets, banners, and more! Make sure your logo will work on any background colour.

                                                 

Submission Instructions

The deadline to submit a logo design is Sunday, November 25th, 2012

Submissions that follow the 2 steps below will be recognized as complete and will be accepted.

1. Name your logo design following the guidelines above. Logos that are not following the criteria  will not be considered.
2. Send an email notification (see below)

Sending Your Email Notification

Please send an email, using the subject line HAC Logo Contest Submission, to hac110@yahoo.com  containing the following information AFTER you have uploaded your logo.

1. Name of logo designer(s) - If more than one designer, please indicate all the members.
2. Filename
3. Participant Name
4. Part/ Semester

If you have more than one logo design to submit, please send a separate email for each entry.

Note: If your submission is complete, you will receive a "thank you" email.
